The Day Was Ours is a regimental-level simulation of the First Battle of Bull Run. The Blind Swords chit-pull system creates uncertain brigade activations and sudden momentum shifts, reflecting two inexperienced armies struggling to coordinate on a chaotic field. Players maneuver familiar formations, manage command limitations, and seek local advantages across a long battle whose operational shape can change with every draw.
