Battles of Napoleon: Volume I – EYLAU 1807 is a tactical simulation of the bloody winter battle between Napoleon’s army and the Russian forces of General Bennigsen. Infantry battalions, cavalry regiments, and artillery batteries maneuver across large hex maps at roughly 150 meters per hex. Division orders shape available actions, while initiative and activation cubes create an uncertain command rhythm. Weather, morale, army fatigue, and five scenarios—from focused engagements to the full battle—reward timing and coordinated combined-arms play.
