Tax the Rich is a satirical partnership trick-taking game in which every hand begins with a bid. The winning bidder names trump, predicts a team result, and calls for a card whose holder becomes a hidden ally. Players must follow suit while reading who is helping whom, then decide when the lowly cards marked with flags can declare a Revolution and reverse the rank order. Winning with a one can even tax the leader by stealing a captured trick. Thirteen optional character rules layer new political complications onto later plays without changing the compact twenty-minute core.
