Star Realms Academy turns the core deck-building duel of Star Realms into an approachable two-player game with less arithmetic and no required card reading. Each player begins with a small personal deck, plays every card in hand for trade and combat, and spends trade to acquire stronger ships and bases from the shared row. Purchased cards cycle into later hands, steadily sharpening the deck. Combat removes opposing bases and lowers the rival from fifteen health to zero. Icon-driven cards, player boards, and punch-out components make the system especially friendly for families and first-time deck builders.
