Eternitium is a brisk deck-building race in which time travellers hunt the gemstone of eternal life. Portal cards remove Era cards when their symbols match, while face-down eras invite risky blind jumps that can end a turn when they fail. Basic and advanced technologies improve information, efficiency, or interference, but acquiring them adds more Era cards to the timeline. Every upgrade therefore trades immediate delay for a faster future deck. The first traveller to clear every Era card finds Eternitium, with a solo mode providing a separate race against an automated rival.
