SILOS is Reiner Knizia’s area-majority design Municipium rebuilt as a gleefully strange alien conspiracy. Each player leads a faction infiltrating a small town, moving alien figures among seven locations and then resolving an event card. Influence determines who gains the card’s benefit, but locations also provide powers, humans to brainwash, and cows that act as valuable wild specimens. Politicians, government operators, influencers, and professionals form sets; every complete set earns a societal power emblem, and the first faction to collect five wins. The common and faction decks display enough information to support deliberate card counting, while alternate location tiles and powerful leaders change the tactical map. Players must balance immediate majority, future card probabilities, set completion, and the threat that a rival can exploit the same event. It is interactive, legible, and full of sharp positional swings.
