Salamandra is a worker-placement strategy game about restoring sacred vegetation during the festival of Litha. Across two days and two nights, players place apprentices permanently, then activate them to generate resources that disappear unless spent immediately. Those resources build field tiles, awaken cauldrons, earn scrolls, and attract the blessings of the Bear, Eagle, and Salamander deities. Because workers stay in place while the available landscape grows, every placement shapes both the current engine and the opportunities that remain for later rounds.
