Pokémon Master Trainer turns the original Kanto journey into a family race and collection game. Trainers move from town to town, reveal Pokémon chips, and use item and event cards while building teams strong enough for rival battles. Matching creatures into evolution groups improves a collection, but progress ultimately depends on reaching Indigo Plateau and defeating the Pokémon Champion. The large route map, familiar first-generation characters, and constant discovery make this 1999 edition a nostalgic snapshot of Pokémon’s earliest tabletop era.
