Piles! is a real-time card game with no turns and almost no downtime. Every player starts sorting a personal spread while cards flow through a universal discard area that anyone can use. The objective is simple—complete six piles of four matching cards—but the table quickly becomes a race of scanning, swapping, remembering, and reacting before a needed card disappears into someone else’s collection. Because everyone plays at once, the game scales from a quick head-to-head sprint to a noisy eight-player free-for-all without adding procedural overhead.
