Perch is an area-majority game of birds competing for the best branches in a modular woodland. Players add birds from personal bags to contested locations, use asymmetric flock powers, and trigger the abilities of the places they occupy. Because every placement can change several majorities at once, a seemingly quiet perch may prepare a decisive migration or topple a rival from the king-of-the-hill position. The bag-building arc gradually changes which birds are available, while variable player powers and modular locations keep the contest fresh. Scoring rewards control across the forest rather than one overwhelming stack, so the strongest plan combines tactical displacement with careful preparation for later rounds.
