Pax Illuminaten places players among the founding members of Adam Weishaupt’s Bavarian Illuminati in 1776. Cards enter a changing market and become people, places, and ideas in a growing network of influence. Each Areopagite pursues hidden recruitment plots, extending connections and competing for control of the same emerging order. Money, position, and timing determine which opportunities can be seized, while every visible link may reveal another player’s design. Compact in footprint but dense with consequences, the game turns Enlightenment-era history into a tense contest of networks, leverage, and concealed intent.
