Pathogen is a two-player abstract strategy game played across two mutually dependent worlds. One player commands the Doctor and Angel; the other controls the Plague and Demon. A separate movement panel determines how those characters travel through the white and black spaces of a modular map, leaving influence behind as they go. Victory comes either from connecting opposite edges with an unbroken route or from building a settlement in each quadrant, so every move advances one network while contesting the opponent’s geometry.
