Kyoto no Neko is a family adventure game in which each player controls a kitten exploring a modular map of Kyoto. Independent, replayable scenarios send the kittens out to befriend a schoolboy, steal food, battle a stray cat, and chase other small goals. Dice checks use a kitten’s developing skills, so early discoveries gradually make climbing, hunting, fighting, and sneaking more reliable. New tiles reveal insects, objects, and residents, while standees and scenario rules turn the neighborhood into a lively shared playground. The result is an approachable story-driven race where every kitten’s route becomes its own little tale.
