Gruntz is a deterministic two-player battlefield game built around grid movement and rock-paper-scissors unit relationships. Infantry are slow but uniquely able to capture central control points, aircraft punish exposed formations, and anti-aircraft attachments constrain the skies. Tanks and trucks accept magnetic cannon, cargo, and support pieces that change how they fight or transport troops. With no dice or hidden draws, victory comes from formation, tempo, and anticipating the counterattack that follows every advance.
