Gloomies is a two-phase set-collection game about galactic gardeners and the luminous flowers they cultivate. During the growing phase, players use cards to place wooden blooms into rows, claiming bonuses and quietly shaping the board they will later harvest. The discarded cards become each player’s deck for the second half, so every early placement also programs later possibilities. Harvested flowers score directly and fulfill decoration orders, while helpers and bonus tiles reward timing. The result is a welcoming strategy game with a clever mirrored structure: first create the shared garden, then dismantle it more efficiently than everyone else.
