Gift of Tulips is a compact card game about collecting, giving, and speculating during Amsterdam’s tulip festival. Each turn begins by drawing two cards. The active player then uses two different actions: keep a tulip in their private bouquet, give one to another player for immediate points, or add one to the festival to alter that color’s value. The public festival display determines which varieties are most prestigious, so a card can be valuable in your collection one moment and fall behind after a rival shifts the rankings. Five hidden festival cards are revealed at the end, creating a final market swing before collection majorities and set bonuses are scored. Success comes from reading opponents’ holdings, scoring gifts at the right time, and retaining enough influence to protect the colors you need.
