Koinobori is a compact card game inspired by Japan’s Children’s Day carp streamers. Players build shared festival masts while adding face-down cards to their own mast, where each card improves a personal ability and remains hidden for final scoring. On a turn, a player may add a card to a festival mast, tuck one into the personal mast, or draw from either end of the display. At the end, personal cards score according to the colors that achieved the greatest presence across the public masts.
