General Orders: Sengoku Jidai is a focused two-player strategy game set amid the competing daimyo of sixteenth-century Japan. Players place commanders to seize key locations, establish and defend supply lines, launch attacks, and pressure the opposing headquarters. Two maps alter the geography of each battle, while ships, waterways, forts, and siege weapons create distinct tactical problems. Its worker-placement structure makes every commander commitment visible and consequential, delivering a full positional duel in roughly half an hour.
