Read the full game description

Fuego is a compact trick-taking card game in which winning is only half the puzzle. The lowest card in the winning suit claims the most valuable flame, so players constantly balance control against restraint. Matches and strikes can alter the rhythm of a hand, and the player-count rules shift from individual competition at two or three to team play at four. The result is a quick, sharp contest of reading the table, shedding the right card, and choosing when a modest trick is worth more than an obvious victory.
