Read the full game description

French Quarter is a dice-drafting roll-and-write about making the most of one vivid day in New Orleans. Over eight rounds—each representing an hour—players select dice from a shared pool and pair their values with actions on two interconnected personal sheets. Movement traces a route through the neighborhood while activity tracks record food, music, shopping, culture, and the people encountered along the way. Strong turns often connect several systems: a die advances the tour, activates a location, fills an activity row, and prepares a later scoring bonus. The same public dice are available to everyone, but route choices and developing sheets quickly create different priorities. Players must balance immediate combinations against the risk of leaving valuable districts unvisited when the final hour arrives. The result is approachable enough for a family game but layered enough to reward repeat play, especially as different scoring routes and starting conditions reshape the puzzle. A dedicated solo mode turns the shared draft into a focused efficiency challenge.
