Escape from New York is a cooperative and potentially semi-cooperative adventure based on John Carpenter’s film. Snake Plissken and the other heroes enter a modular Manhattan built from location tiles, searching for the President, the nuclear-fusion tape, and a route across the mined bridge before time runs out. Gangs, encounters, wounds, weapons, and limited movement create a tense shared mission, while personal objectives can tempt a player to break away and pursue victory alone. The game supports solo play and different hero combinations, with exploration gradually revealing the prison city and escalating the pressure from the Duke’s forces.
