Read the full game description

Eketorp is a family-weight Viking contest built around simultaneous planning and cheerful conflict. At the start of a round, new wooden building materials appear at central sites. Every player secretly assigns Vikings to those resources—or directly to a rival fortress—then all placements are revealed together. When groups collide, players commit strength cards to decide the fight. Winners claim blocks or steal from exposed walls, while defeated Vikings recover in the hospital rather than disappearing permanently. That recycling keeps everyone involved and makes an aggressive raid costly without being devastating. The later Queen Games edition adds polished components and a clear circular layout, but the core tension remains simple: predict where the table is going, send enough strength to win, and avoid wasting warriors where nobody else goes.
