Dwar7s Fall asks rival clans to prepare their kingdoms before winter closes in. Players use a hand of building cards to extend a shared landscape, then place dwarf workers to activate locations, collect gems, trade resources for food, and confront roaming monsters. Goals reward different combinations of construction and achievement, so a clan must balance immediate resources against the map it is creating for every player. With only three actions on a turn, worker placement and tile placement remain tightly linked: a useful building can open a powerful route for its owner while also inviting rivals into the same neighborhood.
