Crafting the Cosmos casts players as interstellar architects competing to build the most remarkable galaxy. On each turn, energy moves around the shared control console for light, time, gravity, and chemistry, generating resources from active and passive rooms. Those resources are then spent to place hydrogen, helium, carbon, and oxygen stars, complete nebula patterns, seed life, and develop advanced species on a personal double-layer board. Power cards bend the usual rules, while universal goals create public races and additional scoring. The shared rondel means every move changes which resources will be efficient for everyone else, so timing and spatial planning matter as much as raw production. After the final shared end phase, completed structures, life, power effects, and goals determine whose hand-built cosmos is greatest.
