Wooly Wars, also published as Wooly Bully and La Guerre des Moutons, is a tile-laying family game of hidden colors and ambitious pastures. Each player secretly receives a flock color, then adds square tiles to a shared countryside while matching every touching edge. A tile may connect to several existing tiles, rewarding careful placement with extra draws and more options for later turns. Sheep score only inside a completed field, so expanding a large enclosure promises a strong result but gives opponents more time to interfere or leave it unfinished. Forests introduce wolves that threaten adjacent flocks, while hunters can neutralize them. Players may reveal their color early to gain a scoring bonus, or keep it secret longer to disguise which pasture matters most. The game ends when players stop placing tiles, and each shepherd scores the sheep in their largest safely enclosed field.
