Valheim: The Board Game translates the cooperative survival loop of the video game into a scenario-driven tabletop adventure. One to four Vikings reveal a modular world tile by tile, gathering wood, stone, food, and other resources while weather and enemies make every expedition dangerous. Crafted weapons, armor, buildings, and meals improve the group’s chances, but preparation consumes precious actions before the scenario boss arrives. Dice-driven combat and icon-based events create uncertainty without erasing the importance of route planning, equipment choices, and teamwork. Scenarios may be played independently, linked as a campaign, or used as foundations for custom challenges. Persistent-feeling progression comes from structured scenario play rather than permanent component changes, so the complete world can be reset and explored again.
