This Accursed Civil War recreates five pivotal battles of the English Civil War with GMT’s Musket & Pike tactical system. Two players direct cavalry, infantry, and artillery while managing the command structure of separate army wings. Orders, formation, line of sight, morale, and the interaction of pike and shot make positioning more important than simply seeking favorable combat odds. An interactive sequence keeps both commanders involved throughout each turn and gives the historical scenarios a tense rhythm of advances, charges, and collapsing formations.
