The Hunted: Twilight of the U-Boats, 1943-45 is a solitaire patrol simulation covering the period when German submarines changed from hunters into prey. A player chooses a U-boat model and commander, receives patrol assignments, searches for individual ships or convoys, and decides how aggressively to attack with limited torpedoes and deck guns. Dice and detailed charts resolve detection, escort quality, aircraft, damage, crew injuries, technological upgrades, decorations, and possible reassignment to newer boats. Surviving an encounter matters as much as sinking tonnage: escorts grow more effective, air coverage expands, and every return voyage can end a career. The game can also integrate with The Hunters to follow one commander across the entire Atlantic war.
