The Fox in the Forest Deluxe is a refined two-player trick-taking game with new artwork, tarot-sized cards, and both original and duet play. Odd-numbered cards carry special powers that alter trump, lead suit, hand information, or the value of a trick. Winning matters, but greed is punished: taking too many tricks can leave the humbler player with the larger score. A compact round becomes a contest of timing, inference, and restraint.
