Tether is a spatial card game built around a deck whose two-digit values read differently from opposite sides of the table. Partners seated across from one another share the same grid but pursue a common orientation: one team scores horizontal chains, while the other scores vertical chains. Each placement must connect consecutive values, yet every card also presents a different possibility to the opponent viewing it upside down. The result is a compact contest of hand management, orientation, and denial that works head-to-head or in teams.
