Soda Jerk is a compact hand-management and commodity-speculation game about serving drinks before their ingredients lose their fizz. Players hold recipe cards that combine colorful soda ingredients, while a shared market shows the current value and availability of each flavor. On a turn, a player manipulates that market, gathers what a recipe needs, or serves a completed soda for points. The visible demand makes every action matter to everyone: improving one ingredient can help an opponent, while pushing a flavor too hard may cause its value to crash before a planned sale. With only fifteen minutes of play, the design creates quick cycles of anticipation, opportunism, and sharply timed payoffs. The illustrated drinks keep the system approachable for families, but experienced players can track hands, infer recipes, and exploit market momentum. The small box and brisk setup make it especially suited to travel, café tables, and immediate rematches.
