Sanibel is a relaxed tile-drafting puzzle inspired by beachcombing on Florida’s Gulf Coast. A shared shoreline fills with shell, wildlife, and landmark tiles, and each player moves a beachcomber along the sand to claim a nearby find. Collected tiles are placed into ordered rows on a personal beach board, where their colors, shapes, and positions matter for both immediate opportunities and end-game bonuses. Public goal cards reward shared priorities while private patterns encourage different routes through the same display. Because taking a tile also changes what later players can reach, every pleasant stroll contains a small drafting dilemma: secure the perfect shell now, reposition for a better sequence, or deny a scarce piece to an opponent. When the shoreline or tile supply reaches its endpoint, completed patterns, collections, and bonuses determine the most memorable day on Sanibel Island.
