Rising Cultures is a two-player civilization card game built around four asymmetric cultures: Egypt, Persia, Rome, and the Abbasid Caliphate. Every card can serve different purposes, letting players develop resources, recruit military strength, construct buildings, appoint leaders, or influence provinces according to their culture’s strengths. The compact duel rewards planning several uses ahead while watching the opponent’s engine and territorial pressure. Pairing different cultures changes the tempo and strategic incentives, giving a focused forty-five-minute game the arc of a much larger civilization contest.
