Pillars of Fate is a two-player fantasy lane battler built around deduction and hidden deployment. Each player controls an asymmetric faction with its own card powers, then commits cards face down among three contested lanes. Because strength and abilities are concealed until the moment of revelation, every placement communicates partial information: a weak card can bait an overcommitment, while an apparently safe lane may hide a decisive combo. Hand management and card-driven conflict resolution keep the rules compact, but area-majority scoring makes the value of every lane relative to the whole formation. The duel unfolds across three rounds, rewarding players who can infer the opposing plan and preserve the right answer for the final reveal.
