Nova Era is a civilization-building game driven by shared dice drafting. Across three eras, players select colored dice and spend their values to acquire technologies, gather resources, recruit personalities, and claim territories for a growing personal tableau. Technologies branch into increasingly powerful opportunities, while cards and public objectives reward both specialization and breadth. Taking too much power is dangerous: the sum of a player’s collected dice can create unrest, and dice left behind push disasters or a dark age closer. Scoring comes from technological variety, majorities, completed objectives, and the civilization assembled over the full arc of play. The result is a medium-weight development game in which every attractive draft also changes the pressure confronting the rest of the table.
