Read the full game description

Nottingham is an interactive set-collection card game from Uwe Rosenberg in which the Sheriff’s deputies compete to recover overdue taxes—and casually pick one another’s pockets along the way. At the start of a turn, the active player reveals the next item card. They may keep it for a future set or discard its value to perform the action printed on its banner. Purchase, steal, rob, hold up, defend, trade, and ambush effects continually move information and cards between players, making careful observation as important as the contents of a hand. Sets of at least three matching items can be traded for points, while four limited assignment pairs reward harder combinations and become unavailable after two deputies complete them. Every successful trade advances the Sheriff around Nottinghamshire and may grant favors to players with small hands, giving the scoring race a visible clock. The game ends when the Sheriff completes the circuit or the final assignment is claimed; the deputy with the most value in their victory pile and assignments earns the promotion.
