Mini Kubb compresses the traditional Scandinavian throwing game into a portable tabletop set. Two players or teams arrange five kubbs along each baseline with the king standing in the center. On a turn, a team throws its six batons underhand in an attempt to topple the opposing baseline. Fallen kubbs are thrown back into the other half as field kubbs and must be cleared before new attacks can reach the baseline. Accurate placement can shorten later throws, while missed shots may hand the opponent a more favorable line. Once every opposing kubb has fallen, the team may target the king; knocking it over earlier causes an immediate loss. The miniature rubberwood pieces preserve the familiar arc of Kubb in a compact, travel-friendly format.
