Magic Mountain is a cooperative children's game built around a wonderfully physical cause-and-effect puzzle. Players draw one coloured will-o'-the-wisp marble, choose one of six channels at the top of the sloped board, and let gravity send it through the forest. Every figure the marble touches advances to the next open space of the matching colour. The group is trying to move four apprentices to Master Balduin before three witches reach the valley, so every launch is a shared prediction about ricochets, blockers, and chain reactions. Five marbles cycle through the bag, producing a tense rhythm with almost no reading. Adjustable goals make the same mechanism easier for young beginners or sharper for experienced families, while a competitive team mode adds another way to use the clever 3D board.
