Lunar Trick is a compact trick-taking game whose suit structure changes every round. Players first reveal cards simultaneously; their values divide the circular deck into suits, while the balance between rising- and falling-moon cards determines trump. That opening choice can reshape every hand. Players must then follow suit while steering toward exactly one, three, or five captured tricks, with eclipse cards creating unusual exceptions. The result is a short game of shifting boundaries, precise timing, and deliberately uneven ambitions.
