Lifeboats: Plank of Carneades is a negotiation game about cooperation under pressure and the betrayal that follows. Players place sailors and officers among seven boats, then secretly vote on which boat springs a leak and which moves toward shore. Captains can overrule a vote—but only a few times—and every round ends with swimmers trying to find a better seat. This edition expands the classic design to seven players and accelerates the danger when boats fill or sink.
