Justinian: Intrigue at the Emperor's Court is a political strategy game of hidden influence and calculated bluffing. Players support twelve members of the Byzantine court with face-down influence tokens, then use character cards to raise or lower their positions. At the end of each round one color is scored, yet only three of the four colors will count before the game ends. Because every player can alter the same courtiers, timing a promotion, disguising a favorite, and anticipating the next scoring color matter as much as the strength of any single move.
