In the Footsteps of Marie Curie is a family strategy game built around resource transformation and the milestones of the scientist’s life. Each turn begins with a cube-tower drop: pitchblende, uranium, and radium may emerge immediately or remain caught inside to create uncertainty for later players. The active player takes resources, then performs actions by drafting activity cards, converting elements, improving a workshop, and completing experiment or thesis objectives. Cards and contracts reward efficient combinations, while moving Marie along the central timeline reveals historical events and sets the pace of the game. The design turns scientific enrichment into a tactile economy—pitchblende can become uranium, uranium can become scarce radium, and the tower makes every release feel like an experiment. When the timeline reaches its conclusion, completed research, objectives, and workshop development determine the winner.
