I Made You a Mixtape

I Made You a Mixtape is a music-themed card game built around the I-cut-you-choose dilemma. Players simultaneously draw three track cards and divide them into a two-card pile and a one-card pile. The offer passes to a neighbor, who keeps one pile while the other returns to its creator. Chosen songs are arranged across the A and B sides of a personal cassette, where points come from genre collections, transitions between adjacent tracks, and a balanced running order. Every split therefore communicates information: an apparently generous pair may hide the exact single another player needs. The compact rules support competitive play for two to four people as well as a dedicated solo mode, with ninety track cards creating a playful stream of fictional nineties hits.
