Read the full game description

High Rise is a strategic city-building game about construction, timing, and institutional corruption. Players move clockwise around a one-way action track, skipping as far ahead as they like but waiting until everyone else passes before acting again. Spaces provide materials, blueprints, tenants, influence, and chances to construct. Matching resources to a blueprint adds a skyscraper to one of the city’s neighborhoods, scores its floors, and may unlock a tenant power. Corruption can improve an action or smooth over a shortage, yet periodic checks punish the most corrupt builders and every remaining marker costs points at the end. Area-majority bonuses reward the tallest neighborhood and citywide towers. Variable tenants, blueprints, solo rules, and standard or full-length formats make the economic puzzle flexible while preserving the central temptation to take one more favor.
