Battle for the Wellspring is a two-player entry point to Heroscape, pairing modular locking terrain with six assembled miniatures and four scenarios. Players build the battlefield, draft an army, secretly assign order markers, then alternate activations for movement and ranged or adjacent attacks resolved with custom combat dice. Elevation, line of sight, unit powers, jungle cover, and the new Wellspring water tiles make positioning decisive. The box stands alone and integrates with past and current Heroscape releases.
