HeroQuest: First Light distills the classic dungeon-crawling adventure into an accessible standalone game system. One player becomes Zargon, revealing rooms, monsters, traps, and treasures as up to four heroes explore a double-sided board through ten new quests. Movement and combat are resolved with dice, equipment improves between scenarios, and the quest book steadily introduces the rules and possibilities of the wider HeroQuest line. Cardboard standees keep the set approachable while detailed hero and dragon miniatures provide its signature table presence.
