Heroes: Write & Conquer condenses a fantasy strategy campaign into sixteen rounds of simultaneous planning and map play. Each player secretly places Build, Recruit, Move, and Develop into a four-slot action queue, then everyone resolves the same numbered slot before advancing. Resources fund structures and units, armies contest neutral and rival regions, and faction powers steer distinct paths through the shared landscape. Careful action order matters as much as raw strength: a late recruit can prepare tomorrow’s attack, while a mistimed move leaves valuable territory exposed.
