Hellas is a focused two-player struggle for control of a growing Greek archipelago. Players begin around a central sea tile and reveal hexes to discover cities, islands, and temples. Each turn commits to one of three strategic directions: reinforce cities and fleets, voyage into unexplored waters, or attack a rival city by land or sea. Greek figures secure settlements, ships project naval strength, and limited forces make every exposed city consequential. Cards dedicated to Ares, Poseidon, and Zeus bend combat, exploration, and tempo at decisive moments. The first player to control ten cities wins, so the central tension is knowing when to expand, when to consolidate, and when a carefully prepared assault can swing two cities at once.
