Guildlands is a tile-laying city-building game set in a realm recovering from dragon devastation. On each turn, a player must either add a tile from the public pool or risk the face-down stack, or rotate a tile on the city edge to improve its rewards. Workers claim opportunities across the expanding shared city, while each guild board supplies a distinct special ability and scoring ambition. Gold can buy an additional tile or special action, but unspent wealth can matter at the end, forcing players to balance immediate control against the Queen’s final favor.
