Fossilium casts each player as the director of a new natural-history museum. Place paleontologists at shared action spaces, send expeditions to promising digs, assemble fossil tiles, and arrange complete specimens in an expanding exhibition hall. Restaurants, auditoriums, and other facilities build an economic engine, while changing visitor trends reward museums that prepare the right displays at the right time. Cooperation is possible when one museum supplies a missing fossil piece to another, but after five rounds only the director with the most prestige wins.
